Baumann Consulting provided fundamental and enhanced commissioning and energy modeling services for Remarkable Foods. As part of the commissioning scope, the Baumann team commissioned both new and existing HVAC equipment. An additional assessment was made of the existing HVAC equipment to determine the units that could be reused and any issues with fixing components from the existing ones.
With some of the existing roof-top units (RTUs) being over 15 years old, Baumann successfully led the commissioning of these systems to come online at the same time as the newly purchased units. These involved upgrades of HVAC components, switching out of compressors, fan belts, filters, etc.
Aside from HVAC equipment, Baumann also commissioned the following systems:
- Plumbing including domestic hot water systems, pumps, and controls
- Electrical power including service distribution
- Electric lighting and controls including daylighting controls
- Renewable energy systems
