We are happy to announce that Oliver Baumann has joined the Chicago Building Energy Resource Hub Advisory Board!
The Hub serves Chicago and Northeastern Illinois area stakeholders with critical training and resources, ensuring that the region can meet aggressive climate action goals within the buildings sector while building an inclusive green economy. The Hub is supported by an Advisory Board of industry experts and key partners in resource development, and shares staff with Illinois Green Alliance to bring effective and trusted building efficiency resources and education to the team.
The Hub Advisory Board serves critical advisory functions to ensure programs and services provided are meeting the needs of the Hub audience. The key functions of the Hub Advisory Board are to provide technical and strategic guidance around programs, resources, and educational offerings, and to recommend initiatives and partnerships that will help us meet the needs of the market.
The reason for me to apply was our strong relationship with the Illinois Green Alliance (IGA) and the desire to support their mission. Baumann Consulting and I personally have been members of the Chicago sustainability community for more than 10 years and this is a great opportunity to contribute our experience and expertise as a local, national, and international building decarbonization consultant"
